Bovie Bantam PRO Electrosurgical Generator

The Bantam PRO from Bovie is a both high frequency desiccator and electrosurgical generator in one compact unit. It is designed and engineered to be the most reliable and durable generator available today. Each unit includes a reusable handpiece, non-sterile drapes, 2 sterile drapes, 5 sterile disposable electrodes, 6 disposable sterile dermal tips, 12 disposable non-sterile dermal tips, 2 reusable grounding cord, 5 disposable split grounding pad, and wall mount kit as well as a users guide. As an electrosurgical generator the Bantam PRO delivers 50 watts of power in Cut mode, Blended Cut mode, and Pinpoint Coagulation mode. Both controls and outputs are on the front panel of the unit for ease of access. This ergonomic arrangement of commonly used operating functions, plus a large, comfortable rotary dial, provides quick operating-mode selections and smooth power control with the option of adjusting the power from the handpiece.

When used as a high frequency desiccator, the Bantam PRO is a ground referenced machine. This means that it does not require the use of a return pad. This unit also provides the ability to change the power setting with one action. To do this, simply use either the up/down buttons on the autoclavable handpiece or the rotary power-control dial. This saves time and protects the sterile field during sensitive procedures.
