Ball Burnisher Dental Instruments from Hu-Friedy are ideal for condensing, smoothing, carving and polishing amalgam. The 27/29 model is also used to form occlusal anatomy or to blend material during final contouring to achieve sculpting of areas like grooves, fissures or pits.
These instruments should be gently wiped with an alcohol saturated swab or gauze immediately after use. This minimizes thin layers of composite from building up after use and extends the life of the instrument. Afterwards, clean and sterilize each one as recommended in IFU.
