It has been found that better airflow eases breathing required to speak and helps when weaning patients from a tracheostomy tube.
The optional TaperGuard cuffs lessen tracheal impact by reducing fluid leakage by 99%. They also reduce lateral wall pressure on the trachea by up to 18.6%.
