The PT2 PT/INR meters from Coag-Sense deliver quick, reliable INR and PT results. It is the only POC system that directly detects clotting endpoint (emulates the WHO Tilt-Tube method) so the time required to perform a test is the actual prothrombin time in seconds. That means it takes less than one minute to finish, all while eliminating the need for lookup tables or curve fitting algorithms. They provide a linear response, even in the high INR range, often times outperforming lab systems. These monitors also have the ability to run whole blood, real plasma controls and plasma calibrants.
